We built onVOICEly with privacy as a foundational principle — not an afterthought. Free users' data never leaves their device.

Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you create an account using Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
- Profile Information: Display name, avatar, and preferences you choose to set.
- User-Generated Content: Voice messages, text messages, and media you share in theaters (stored locally on your device only).
Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers.
- Usage Data: Features you use, theaters you join, session duration.
- Technical Data: IP address, crash reports, performance metrics.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do NOT store chat messages on our servers. All chat content is ephemeral and exists only in active sessions.
- We do NOT track your location unless you explicitly grant permission for a specific feature.
- We do NOT sell your data to third parties.

For Free Users (Audience Tier)
- All data is stored locally on your device only
- No server-side user profile or history
- Anonymous participation in public theaters
For Paid Users (Feature / Main / Enterprise Tiers)
- Account Management: Verify subscription status, process payments
- Device Transfer: Facilitate data migration when upgrading devices (24-hour temporary storage)
- Cloud Backup: Optional backup of profile and preferences (if you enable this feature)
- Streaming: Manage connections to third-party platforms (TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
General Use
- Provide and maintain our service
- Improve user experience and app functionality
- Respond to customer support requests
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
🗄️ Data Storage and Retention
Local Storage
- Chat messages: Stored locally on your device only, never on our servers
- Profile data: Stored locally for free users; cloud backup optional for paid users
- Theater preferences: Stored locally
Server Storage (Paid Users Only)
- Device Transfer Data: Encrypted snapshots stored for 24 hours, then automatically deleted
- Subscription Status: Synced from RevenueCat, retained as long as your subscription is active
- Platform Connections: OAuth tokens for streaming platforms, retained until you disconnect
- DMCA Notices: Retained for legal compliance (if applicable to streaming users)

Third-Party Platforms (Optional)
If you enable multi-platform streaming, we share necessary data with TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, and Zoom. Only connection tokens and stream metadata are shared. You control which platforms to connect.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to comply with legal process, protect our rights or property, prevent fraud or security issues, or protect user safety.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
🔞 Age Restriction & COPPA Compliance
onVOICEly is strictly for users aged 18 and older. We do not permit users under 18 to use the App. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete all associated data.
What We Do
- Display an 18+ age gate at first launch
- Terminate and delete accounts found to belong to users under 18
- Do not knowingly collect any personal information from minors

- COPPA (United States): 18+ minimum exceeds the 13+ threshold — parental consent not required
